What I'm Prioritising As I Emerge From Maternity Leave As A Spiritual CEO & Mama of 3

Returning to the business after maternity leave as a mama of three has been both expansive and stretchy.
I’m only a few weeks back, and already I can feel the newness of this season asking more of me –more intention, more discernment, and a deeper level of trust.
Today I want to share a grounded, CEO-level look at the real priorities I’m anchoring into as I emerge from maternity leave and enter this next season of business, life and motherhood.
I’m not here to pretend I’ve got it all figured out. But I am holding a powerful vision for what I desire to create in 2026 and beyond. And I’m meeting that vision with strategy, mindset, self-leadership and compassion.
These are the five things I’m focusing on right now as I navigate this return:
1. CEO Mindset, Identity & Capacity
This season is really asking me to double down on my mindset, identity, and how I show up for myself. Because the version of me who will lead this next chapter – the one building a 300K+ business – isn’t the same woman who got me to this point in my business.
So I’ve been focused on expanding and supporting my capacity: listening to hypnosis tracks, journaling with ChatGPT, and honouring the rituals that help me regulate and return to myself.
This is about standards. This is about pouring into me so I can pour into the business.
This identity work isn’t separate from business strategy — it is business strategy. Because I can’t hold a bigger vision if I’m not also expanding my energetic capacity to hold more.
2. Future-Proofing My Business Model
I have a big goal of making $300k revenue in 2026 – a big stretch for me, especially in a season with a baby at home.
And it’s forced me to take an honest look at my current business model.
During maternity leave, I had the space to zoom out and ask: Can this model actually support the life and growth I want?
And the answer was, not entirely.
So I’ve evolved my core offer, the Spiritual Business Mistressmind, to better support the vision of the business. And it’s not just about hitting the 300K goal – it’s also about building something scalable, supportive and spacious for the years to come.
3. Filling the Strategic Gaps to Hit My Goals
In a very uncharacteristic move, I haven’t done my 2026 planning yet.
Because right now, my focus is on collecting data from this current launch of the Spiritual Business Mistressmind. I’m taking note of everything – from launch results to the conversations in my DMs, conversion rates and content performance – and I’m using that to shape what 2026 will look like.
Because planning isn’t just about calendars and dates. It’s about making strategic decisions based on what’s working, what’s not, and what needs to shift.
4. Uplevelling My Content & Creative Skillset
Over the last three months I’ve completely turned my relationship with content creation around. It finally feels fun again, creative and more playful.
Now that I’m back from mat leave, I’m continuing to invest time, energy and money into getting better at content, improving my editing skills, refining my storytelling, playing with formats and really honing this as a craft.
5. Finding My Rhythm As A Mama of Three
Let’s be real – doing business with a baby and a toddler at home is no joke.
Some days it flows. Others, it’s Bluey on the TV, a baby asleep on my lap, and me stealing a few moments to respond to clients between snacks and nappy changes.
The main thing supporting me right now is being a bit more structured with my time – two client check-in windows a day, pockets of content time, and daily outings with the kids to stay sane.
And honestly, part of this is me letting go of perfection. This is all so temporary. It’s imperfect. It’s evolving. I’ve done this dance before. I know it well.
And that’s the biggest truth of all in this season:
Everything is in flux. Nothing is fixed.
But the more I honour where I’m at – with honesty, strategy, and self-compassion – the more grounded I feel in this next evolution.
If you’re in a season of stretch, whether it’s motherhood or momentum or big dreams pulling you forward – I see you. My hope is that something in this has landed for you today.
This isn’t about doing more. It’s about being more of who you came here to be.
Looking after yourself. Doubling down on mindset. Zooming out to examine your goals and your business from a bigger perspective. Asking what you really truly want. Upskilling and uplevelling.
Playing with your weekly rhythm and structure – these are the foundations in any season of life and business.
