If I Had To Rebuild My Business From Scratch In 2026, Here’s Exactly What I’d Do

I've been reflecting a lot on my business journey over the last month or so, and just how far I've come in the past ten years.
I remember starting without much of a plan or a vision. It was a creative, intuitive idea that snowballed into something more substantial – and then I got a whole lot more serious about what it could actually be. At some point in that first year I started thinking of it as something I could take full time.
And here I am, ten years later.
But when I talk to other spiritual business owners, I hear the same things again and again. You don't know what to focus on first, what to prioritise or the best way to go about things. You want to make consistent sales, consistent cash – but what does that even look like, and how do you do it in a way that makes sense for you?
So today I want to share what I would do if I had to rebuild my business from scratch in 2026. Three things: the one thing I would do again, the one thing I wouldn't do, and the one thing I'd prioritise this year.
The One Thing I Would Always Do Again: Blend Intuition and Strategy
Intuition and strategy can coexist. That's how I've built my business, and it's what I've seen work time and time again – for me and for my clients.
You start with intuition. Making decisions from the heart, from your why, following the excitement and what lights you up – those breadcrumbs along the path as it unfolds. Leading from that place.
And then you layer in the strategy. You work out the next steps. You run it through a strategic lens so it makes sense for you as a business owner as well as an intuitive being. Because it has to make you money. It has to be viable, it has to be sustainable, it has to be something you actually execute on and make happen practically.
That's the sweet spot.
So many of my clients come to me wanting that practical, strategic, grounded structure. They're master manifestors. They're incredible at what they do. They just need to land the plane.
Spiritual women can be practical and strategic too.
When you bring both of these to business, that's when you create something that feels really good AND creates the results you want.
The One Thing I Would NOT Do: A Million Offers
When I first started in business I had way too many offers and products. I made candles. I made essential oil rollers. I offer reiki healings. I ran women's circles and workshops, retreats, 1:1 coaching, online courses. You name it, I probably did it.
I still have a note in my phone from ten years ago with ideas for my business. Everything from spell jars to ebooks, meditation albums and mini courses. I was the epitome of the multipassionate business owner with all of the things.
And you know, it worked for a while. I was making money, I had some clients, things were moving. I even went full time in my business, which was mind-blowing to me.
But it wasn't sustainable. Especially not when I had my first son.
I had a lot less time juggling business and mum life, and I didn't have time to faff about anymore. I needed to get really clear, and a bit ruthless, with what I wanted the business to actually look like.
So I simplified. And that's when things started to really build, and I started making good money in my business.
If I was starting from scratch in 2026, I'd pick one thing, go deep, and let things build from there.
The One Thing I'd Prioritise in 2026: A Life-First Business
This is about building a business that works for you, your life and your energy. A business that honours you as a human.
When I work with clients, I work with you as a business owner AND as a human. I'm never ignoring your needs, your season of life, how you like to work, your personality, your energy levels. All of the above.
It needs to work for you. Otherwise you're building something unsustainable – something that's going to burn you out or feel like a massive drag to run.
And you didn't start your business to create a job for yourself that you don't like.
So many people start their business because they desire the freedom it affords them, and then end up creating offers that mean they're tied to their desk all day. That's not what we want.
Especially in 2026, when most people are addicted to their phones and AI is literally melting away our creativity. We need to get out and actually live our lives. Find inspiration out there in the real world. Be intentional about connection and community – because that's going to become more and more important.
So, Where Does That Leave You?
If I had to rebuild in 2026, these are the three things I'd come back to.
1: Blend intuition and strategy – follow the breadcrumbs, lead from the heart, and ground it all in something practical.
2: Don't do a million things – pick one, go deep, let things build.
3: And build for your life first – design your business around your actual life, not the other way around.
