2025. The light after a really hard 2024.
If I sum up 2025 personally in one sentence, it would be: the most magical, joyful, expansive, stretchy, exciting year of my life.
It’s been a year filled with playfulness, gratitude, expansion, and some big business celebrations.
I came into the year pregnant, hopeful but cautious, and focused on setting myself up for a spacious, aligned maternity leave so I could maintain my business and really enjoy this early postpartum season – and I did exactly that.
I chose two words for the year: playful and prosperous.
I wanted to experiment. I wanted to try new things. I wanted to bring a sense of joy and curiosity back into my business strategy, and I really feel like I lived that all year long.
A Year of Expansion, Ease & Business Momentum
This year showed me what becomes possible when your foundations are solid and your strategy is aligned with your season.
Some of my biggest business celebrations:
Setting the business up to take three full months of maternity leave
Returning to a $30k launch straight out of postpartum
Growing recurring revenue for the start of 2026 beyond what I had coming into 2025
Attracting incredible, aligned clients who were beautifully supported while I stepped away
Evolving my signature program and relaunching it successfully within weeks of returning to work
Feeling creatively inspired through this postpartum season
And perhaps the biggest win – proving to myself that I can honour my season as a mama and still grow my business. I can be the mother I want to be while scaling sustainably. I can create abundance without burnout. I can build a spiritual business that supports both my life and my expansion.
The Inner Work Behind Sustainable Business Growth
One thing I reflected on deeply this year was how much inner work it actually takes to hold a business, a pregnancy, a family, and a vision at the same time.
No one sees that part – the mindset, the grounding practices, the self-leadership, the moments of doubt that you move through quietly so you can show up fully for your life.
This year stretched my capacity, but in the most empowering way. I feel stronger, clearer, more ambitious, and more myself than ever.
The Challenges That Shaped Business & Motherhood in 2025
Gratefully, 2025 hasn’t been a year of big, heavy challenges. Compared to 2024, this year felt spacious and supportive. But there were still some stretchy moments.
The hardest part has been finding my rhythm again after maternity leave – navigating sleepless nights and the transition from two to three kids. Even though I’ve run my business with a newborn before, I forgot how stretchy it actually was until I was back in it.
There were also the internal wobbles with the changes I made in the business this year:
Will anyone buy the new nine-month version of the Mistressmind?
Will clients feel supported while I’m away?
Will this new Collective tier actually land?
But every time I followed the nudge, trusted myself, and made the aligned move… it worked. Over and over again.
The Lessons I’m Taking Into 2026
This year taught me to trust myself. To not be afraid to make changes. To do things differently. To follow the breadcrumbs even when they don’t make sense yet.
My word of the year – PLAY – paid off.
If I could go back to January 2025 me, I’d tell her:
“It all bloody well works out. You have nothing to worry about. You’re going to have the most beautiful baby boy who completes your family. The business is going to hold you through this season. You are going to feel so creatively on fire. Don’t be afraid to follow the inner nudges. Don’t be afraid to follow the breadcrumbs. It’s going to be a huge year of personal and business growth.”
Looking Ahead: Bold, Audacious Business Growth in 2026
The energy I’m calling in for 2026 is: Bold. Audacious. “Show me how good it can get” energy.
This doesn’t feel like a quiet year. It feels like a year to run toward my goals. To be unapologetic. To grow and expand in both business and in life.
I’m calling in a 300k year in business, but I’m also calling in abundance in all the ways:
time with my boys
space for myself
a business that energises me
honouring this temporary, precious season with a little baby at home
My biggest business focus is the Spiritual Business Mistressmind – expanding it, deepening it, refining it, and making it the best it can be. My vision is to make this THE space for spiritual women to grow their businesses online.
And beyond that? More playful smaller offers, more content, more collaborations, more creative expression.
And an era of me, fully.
The One Thing to Carry Into 2026 for Aligned Business Growth
You have the power to change and shape and build your business.
If something isn’t aligned or meant to come with you into the new year, it’s okay to let it go. It’s okay to evolve. It’s okay to grow. Trust that inner knowing.
Be bold and brave and audacious. Don’t be afraid to dream bigger in 2026.
